Description
Job Purpose: To provide customers of Lucas Oil Speedway pit office with excellent customer service. Ensure all drivers, crews and guests are properly checked in. To provide proper management of staff, services, inventory, and scheduling according to standards set forth by Lucas Oil.
Duties:
· Schedules employees for events and prioritizes workload to meet Pit Office operating requirements.
· Assists with customer service special needs or difficult work activities of staff members; evaluates and resolves problems presented by Pit Office staff.
· Greets and registers competitors at registration office, and assigns starting position based upon “pill” draw by competitors.
· Enters relative information into computer system.
· Assists with scoring and data entry at race tower.
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Maintains and accurately records race scoring based upon transponder data
· Provides information to Public Address Announcer as it is confirmed and as is authorized by the Race Director
· Answers inquiries and communicates information regarding upcoming events or new developments within the Pit area.
· Provides frequent safety training for subordinates
· Recommends organizational adjustments to efficiently and effectively accomplish assigned objectives for Pit Office and overall Lucas Oil Speedway operation.
· Assists in ensuring reliability and accuracy of ticketing database.
· Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
· Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications and maintaining personal networks.
· Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements
Customer Service, People Management, Planning, Teamwork, Giving Feedback, Self-Motivated, Energy Level, Multi-tasking, Resolving Conflict, Verbal Communication My Race Pass experience preferred.
