This individual assists the Miller/ Working Supervisor, Acting Miller/ Working Supervisor, Second Miller, or Mill Assistant to efficiently
operate the mill.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare railcars and trucks for loading.
• Load conventional & specialty prime products and by-products on trucks and railcars.
• Accurately complete and maintain all documentation required pertaining to each task.
• Perform Mycotoxin and GMO testing on finished product as needed.
• Perform viscosity testing.
• Perform Gluten Testing.
• Perform other tests methods as needed.
• Perform some equipment maintenance/repair.
• Be able to work at secured heights for taking inventories, performing repairs and other circumstances that may arise that would require working at heights. Such height would include but are not limited to: roof tops, inside/outside legs heads, inside/outside drag conveyors above bins, tops of all corn bins and feed bins.
• Operate in a safe manner. Promote safety.
• Maintain acceptable standards of customer/supplier service.
• Cooperate with all Agricor employees. Work for the common good.
• Assist in Agricor's security and product protection efforts.
• Communicate in a positive and effective manner with co-workers, suppliers and customers accurately and productively.
• Always strive to learn as much as possible about our milling operation and sanitation techniques. Also hone supervision and safety skills in preparation for moving into a full time Second Miller Position or into a different position that may become available.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
• Create value for Agricor. Consistently work accurately and productively in the best interest of Agricor.
• Adhere to Agricor's Prerequisite and Food Safety Programs pertaining to the Shift Assistant. In the absence of the Shift Assistant, the employee covering for the Shift Assistant is responsible for adhering to Agricor's Prerequisite and Food Safety Programs Pertaining to the Shift Assistant.

Essential Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to remain alert throughout the workday.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a factory setting preferred but not required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Eager to learn and challenge yourself; self-directed, detail oriented, reliable, and strong initiative.
• Must exhibit flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed.

Physical Demands

• Activities include: Walking, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pulling, pushing, sitting, standing, climbing and kneeling.
• Occasional confined space work.
• Occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Climbing multiple flights of stairs and ladders up to 125 feet in height.
• Work in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions.
• Exposure to many moving parts.
• Exposure to grain dust.
• Exposure to high noise levels (PPE provided when required).

Work Conditions

• The work week schedule is determined by the manager.
• There is occasional overtime during the work week when business conditions require.
• Work in all areas of the facility.
• Work both inside and outside.
• Work at heights.
