The Analyst is responsible for analysis and requirements for CDPHP’s primary data platforms. The Analyst plays a key role in translating business partners’ strategy and goals into meaningful functional requirements and specifications. The Analyst applies an understanding of core business systems and their relationships across multiple IT platforms. The Analyst must apply critical thinking and data analysis techniques to ensure functional requirements can be met by technical solutions in an efficient and consistent manner. Applicants must have the ability to establish priorities, work independently and proceed with objectives without supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Four (4) years relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Data Science, or similar field is preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience of developing, implementing and supporting enterprise level data solutions is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years experience using SQL and relational databases to perform data analysis or data profiling is required.
- Understanding of business process mapping discipline required.
- Basic understanding of healthcare terminology is required.
- Experience using clinical data sources is preferred.
- Knowledge of healthcare processes, rules, regulations, and policies is preferred.
- Five (5) years experience with health insurance processes or systems is preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of data warehousing, data extraction, and standard query language for relational databases is required.
- Demonstrated ability to generate data output using SQL to perform data analysis is required.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, identify, implement, and monitor outcomes required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
- Good organization and time management skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to identify weaknesses in workflow and develop and implement process improvements to continually ensure that corporate goals are satisfied is required.
- Ability to successfully define system implementation, conversion and configuration strategies is required.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in writing large complex data query concepts is required.
CDPHP salary ranges are designed to be competitive with room for professional and financial growth. Individual compensation is based on several factors unique to each candidate, such as work experience, qualifications, and skills. In addition to cash compensation, CDPHP employees may be eligible for an incentive payment, a discretionary cash reward based on employee and company performance. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
