The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Division in SPA supports the Department of Defense in developing leading edge technologies and supporting strategy, policy, and operations to bolster deterrence and counter weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in support of services and all combatant commands (CCMDs). We assist government leaders and program managers to transition technologies and operational capabilities to services and special forces to prevent, reduce, and counter WMD and emerging threats, and prevail against WMD-armed adversaries in conflict. SPA provides expertise across the full range of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosives (CBRNE) WMD, Counterforce, and emerging threats to support understanding, detection, identification, characterization, denial, control, disabling, defeating, disposing, safeguarding the force, managing consequences, and test and evaluation in support of all military and civilian operations. We also provide essential operational and technological support to the government to enhance the nation's nuclear deterrent mission.
SPA has a near term need for a Sr. Inventory Management Analyst.
A senior inventory management analyst provides formal equipment accountability procedures, preventative maintenance systems, and standardized supply regulations/policies/procedures/instructions. This Performance Requirement includes: 1) Assisting the Government Property Administrator and signing for DNWS inventory as necessary, 2) Providing inventory management for all assigned DNWS equipment, 3) Providing logistical support to including shipping and receiving equipment, instructional materials supporting DNWS Mission, 4) Managing all DNWS test equipment, to include ensuring all test equipment is properly calibrated, working with other Departments in DTRA and Government and contractor repair facilities as necessary, 5) Supporting the Government facility manager for DTRA Inspections & Education Department (NE-IE), submitting and tracking work orders, and making minor repairs inside the DNWS facility, 6) Supporting the Government Vehicle Control Officer (VCO), to include scheduling and tracking usage of all DNWS vehicles, and scheduling maintenance for all vehicles assigned to the DNWS, and 7) Effectively providing supply operations support pertaining to specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts.
