Category Management Analyst provides insights and recommendations to optimize new product introductions, distribution, shelving, price and promotional mix by analyzing marketing and customer data. Analyzes and assesses category/brand performance to develop enhanced marketing and sales plans and promotions. Being a Category Management Analyst conducts market specific assessments of competitors, vendors, and customers to support decisions and influence management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Category Management Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Category Management Analyst gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. This is a hybrid position that requires 3-4 days a week at our Walnut Creek, CA offices. The position will require occasional travel to key customer meetings.
HOW YOU'LL HAVE IMPACT:
The Senior Category Analyst will lead sales analytics across key customer accounts and provide actionable insights to drive brand and category growth. They will partner closely with the Sales team on assortment analysis, marketing ROI, customer presentations, and more. The ideal candidate will have very strong analytic skills and the ability to craft effective stories with data.
