Catering Coordinator - Casino jobs in Asheville, NC

Catering By Corey in Asheville is gearing up for a busy year and we are looking to add to our established 38 person team. We are looking for candidates who fit within our core values of: Integrity, Fun, Balance and Growth. 

We are currently hiring for the following positions: Catering Event Server, BOH Prep Chefs / Onsite Event Chefs. 

BOH Prep Chefs / Onsite Events Chef

Ideal Availability: Thursday - Sunday (morning, afternoon and evening shifts available). 

Pay Rate: $20 / with increase in payrate considered base on experience

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations
• Cook dishes to business standards
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Prepare ingredients for use during shift
• Travel to and from Event Venues
• Work onsite at Event Venues for Plated Dinner, Family Style Dinner and Action Station Style Receptions
• Loading and Unloading Catering Van
• Driving Catering Van (ideal but not required)
• Maintaining Catering Equipment

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a cook
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Positive Attitude and Team Oriented 
• Reliable transportation and Valid Driver’s License
