Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Catering Coordinator to join our team in Concord, NH. As a Catering Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our catering process ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned and executed to exceed our customers’ expectations. Your exceptional food preparation, coordination skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to provide exceptional customer service will contribute to the overall success of our catering operations.

Position Type: Full-time and part-time positions available – shift begins at 4 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m. (noon)

Responsibilities Include:

• Event planning and coordination: collaborate with customers to understand their event requirements, including menu selection, dietary preferences, venue logistics, and special requests. Coordinate all aspects of the catering event, from initial planning to execution, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our customers. This includes preparing the catering order and the potential need for in-hospital delivery at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center based on the customers selection.
• Menu customization: work closely with team members to develop customized orders based on customers' preferences, dietary restrictions, and catering needs. Provide recommendations and creative ideas to enhance the overall catering experience.
• Logistics management: coordinate all logistical aspects of catering such as communicating staff scheduling needs, transportation (including in-hospital catering deliveries at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center), and setup arrangements. Ensure that all necessary resources are in place and that the catering runs smoothly from start to finish.
• Customer communication: Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional communication throughout the planning process. Address any inquiries, concerns, or last-minute changes, and proactively keep customers informed about the status of their catering arrangements.
• Quality control: Address any issues promptly and take corrective actions to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
• Administrative support: Assist with administrative tasks, such as contact preparation, invoicing, and record-keeping. Maintain accurate catering order files including client information, event details, and post-catering feedback.

A successful candidate must be organized, and punctual. A positive attitude and friendly demeanor are essential. This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as the ability to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects repeatedly during a shift.
