Job Title: Catering Coordinator 

Salary: $24/hr 

Status: Full Time

The Catering Coordinator is responsible for the support of the Catering Management and Banquet teams in all aspects necessary to provide customer service to clients on behalf of the department organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for handling all incoming calls, making sure all forms are being filled out correctly and giving information to the catering and banquet management teams in a timely manner.
• Monitor daily logs for any changes and follow through on any requests
• Prepare all contract event orders, diagrams, direct bill applications, bar tickets, key requests: ensure a continuous communication with the client from beginning to end.
• Prepare detailed and accurate banquet event orders (BEOs), finalize billing based on contract agreement.
• Enter and update as needed all events into Delphi, including In-house and special events.
• Process gift certificates for groups and keep a log.
• Order supplies from inventory and create purchase orders with backup.
• Create various reports using date from various programs.
• Make changes to menus and items in Delphi when needed.
• Update and distribute all revisions and changes to appropriate departments.
• File all important as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel. Delphi experience is preferred.
• Experience preferred with Catering and Hotels.
• Exceptional communication skills and extremely detail oriented and organized.
• Sales experience helpful.
• Ability to work well with other department team members and have a desire to want to exceed guest expectations.
