Responsibilities & Requirements

1. Leading a team both inside & outside of the restaurant (must be able to lead a team of 8 people at one time)
2. Must have VERY HIGH level of multi-tasking skills and organizational skills (the ability to stay focused on different tasks, and use your time, energy, mental capacity, and physical space effectively and efficiently)
3. Create & execute the catering plans
4. Building sales
5. Making follow up calls (or delegating to others to complete)
6. Answering phones all day while making food/preparing orders
7. Building relationships within the community (ie; distributing food and catering menus to local businesses, setting up cross-promotions and school programs, as well as involving Chick-fil-A in community-wide events)
8. Specific hours vary depending on the task to be accomplished (will involve Saturdays, must have open availability)
9. Must be able to stand on feet for long hours and lift 40 lbs
10. Must have previous leadership experience in coaching others, holding others accountable, and setting expectations!

**Our team members do not stay offsite and serve catered food, we will set it up as needed and return immediately to the restaurant. It is not that style of catering. In addition, leadership typically remains in the store to lead the team, while team members go out on deliveries.

Job Characteristics:

1. Participates with catering order preparation in the kitchen
2. Thorough check of orders prior to leaving the restaurant
3. Maintain strict adherence to food safety procedures
4. Assign orders to team members to distribute to businesses and homes
5. Seek opportunities to deliver an aspect of 2nd Mile Service on every order
6. Tracks inventory to ensure sufficient catering supplies are maintained and available for orders
7. Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
8. Protect the guest experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation and quality is top level
9. Show up on time, have a great attitude and work hard for your entire shift
