labels.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sheild Catering Sales Rep is responsible for managing their sales within the organization for Sheild Catering and Sheild Catering White Label Kitchen. They manage sales for all markets, including weddings, life events and private parties, corporate events, and commercial (on-going) accounts that are executed out of the White Label Kitchen. They consistently meet sales and revenue targets and ensure that all sales are within target gross margins at time of sale.
They ensure a smooth transition for all events from sales to operations and assist with upselling and change orders as needed. They check in with clients throughout the event lifecycle to ensure satisfaction. They work collaboratively with the Service & Event Manager and the Executive Chef to ensure that the menus, supplies and equipment, and service are in line with updated and align with market expectations. They maintain sales documentation in a clean and organized fashion ensuring that the customer vision and items sold are effectively communicated.
They work with the General Manager to update pricing and maintain all sales platforms, including the website and third-party advertising. They oversee the sales and marketing budget, ensuring top of funnel leads are being moved down the sales funnel effectively. They are a key strategic partner, working with leadership to ensure that market opportunities are recognized and acted upon to achieve the long-term strategic aims of the company.
This position reports to the General Manager.
