We are a seven (7) day a week operation, although this position is primarily Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday. This is an hourly position eligible for performance based quarterly incentive bonuses. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Retail Manager will specialize in the set up and operation of all food and beverage outlets. Ensure cash handling procedures and policies are carried out with honesty and integrity for daily operations. Program menu boards, point of sales system and generate reports for the accounting of inventory and sales. Staffing, training and management of associated staff, including alcohol sales and compliance for bartending staff. Maintain product supplies for the efficient operation of outlets. Make certain adherence to Department of Health regulations along with HACCP sanitation techniques and cleaning requirements occur.
JOB DUTIES:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience
Skills: Computer aptitude to learn new software programs. Point of sales software aptitude. Microsoft Suite. Electric pallet jack experience. Use a two-way radio, accurately calculate equations on a calculator. Communicate, read and write in English.
Availability: Must be fully available for a 7 day a week operation. Typically working a 5 day schedule with occasional additional shifts. Must be available for early a.m. opening and or late p.m. closing shifts.
Education: HS Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Point of sales, foodservice and supervisory experience; preferably in a high volume, stadium, convention center, university or college facility.
Physical: Lift and carry 50 pounds. Additional lifting of over 50 pounds with assistance. Move pieces of equipment, some large, over significant distances in the building. Consistently walk, bend, twist, lift and reach.
