Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and versatile Events Production Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in theatrical design and construction, as well as experience with event production and technical operations. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who is capable of bringing concepts to life through innovative design and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Design and construct sets and event installations, including scenery, props, and stage elements, according to production requirements and specifications.
• Hang and focus lighting fixtures to create desired atmospheres and effects.
• Coordinate with production team members, including designers, and technicians, to ensure seamless execution of productions and events.
• Manage technical aspects of productions and events, including audiovisual equipment, sound system.
• Maintain inventory of production materials, tools, and equipment, and ensure proper storage and organization.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements, and provide creative solutions to bring their ideas to life.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all production and event activities.
• Assist with load-in, load-out, and setup of production equipment and staging elements at event venues.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during rehearsals, performances, and events as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of production techniques, including scenic design, carpentry, and lighting.
• Proficiency in operating lighting consoles and audiovisual equipment, and familiarity with industry-standard software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
• Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform tasks such as lifting, carrying, and operating tools and equipment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by production and event schedules.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
