Additionally, Catering Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Catering Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Catering Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for working in many aspects of catering , including menu planning, food preparation, and on site catering. Your role is crucial in ensuring the success of our events and providing exceptional the hospitality that our clients deserve
Duties:
-Prepping for and executing catering events, including weddings, corporate functions, and all kinds of social gatherings
- Coordinate food preparation, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
- Grow into running on site catering events and working alongside other catering staff during events, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the catering kitchen, storage areas and on site at events
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces
Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant or catering cooking is required
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to accept direction
- Exceptional hospitality skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
