Depending on the event, responsibilities may include:

• Meeting with clients to better understand the event dynamics as well as offer insight and suggestions
• Meeting weekly with the Executive Chef to ensure menu expectations are clear
• Working with in-house Operations Department to ensure proper equipment is ordered
• Creating and executing the plan for the day of the event including staff assignments, timelines and diagrams
• Managing and oversee event staff including chefs, bartenders, servers and operations team members
• Overseeing events from start to finish, working with the client, various vendors and venue staff

The Event Manager effectively controls and manages the operations of catered events that meet and surpass the expectations of our clients providing exceptional food integrated into stunning style & design elements. This is a hands-on position that is directly involved in all aspects of the event from start to finish.

Peppers Artful Events is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Event Managers with a strong work ethic that can hit the ground running. A professional appearance, excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment is a must!

Qualifications Required:

Candidates should have a flexible schedule including weekends (Saturdays are our busiest day). Event volume varies by season.

3 years experience in a hospitality management role or similar

TIPS or Servesafe Alcohol certification required

Must be able to lift 30lbs and be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for 6-8 hours
