As a Catering Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of events including weddings, corporate functions, and all kinds of social gatherings.The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll do:
Event Coordination: Create staff notes to execute event setups according to client specifications and company standards.
Staff Management: Supervise event staff, including servers and bartenders, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service.
Guest Relations: Interact with clients and guests to ensure their needs and requests are met promptly and courteously.
Quality Control: Monitor event operations to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
Problem Solving: Address any issues or concerns that arise during events, finding quick and effective solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Lead by example, providing guidance, support, and motivation to event staff to ensure a cohesive and efficient team environment.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of event supplies, equipment, and beverages, ensuring adequate stock levels for events.
Adherence to Policies: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in catering or event management, with a proven track record of successfully executing events of various sizes and types.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and staff.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
Technologically proficient with software including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Weekend availability
The ability to lift 25 pounds and be on your feet up to 15 hours a day
