Being a Catering Manager develops and maintains catering accounts by ensuring customer satisfaction before, during, and after the event. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Catering Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Catering Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Catering Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The Event Manager effectively controls and manages the operations of catered events that meet and surpass the expectations of our clients providing exceptional food integrated into stunning style & design elements. This is a hands-on position that is directly involved in all aspects of the event from start to finish.
Peppers Artful Events is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Event Managers with a strong work ethic that can hit the ground running. A professional appearance, excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment is a must!
Qualifications Required:
Candidates should have a flexible schedule including weekends (Saturdays are our busiest day). Event volume varies by season.
3 years experience in a hospitality management role or similar
TIPS or Servesafe Alcohol certification required
Must be able to lift 30lbs and be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for 6-8 hours
