Catering Sales Manager is responsible for solicitations of new accounts as well as maintaining business relationships with existing/past accounts to meet/exceed all budgeted revenues and individual revenue production goals. The focus of the Catering Sales Manager will be primarily on Weddings with a secondary focus on ancillary catering revenue which may include holiday parties, corporate day meetings and other social catering events (birthday, anniversary, etc.). Position may also be required to solicit other markets or service groups from Catering Sales Managers assigned market.
Qualifications:

Solicit new and existing accounts from assigned market segments (wedding, holiday parties, etc) to meet budgeted revenue and individual production goals.

Responds requests for proposals in a detailed, timely and professional manner.

Preparation and execution of detailed catering sales agreements (contracts)Conducts business development through the facilitation of site visits, outside sales calls, attending trade shows, email, and telephone prospecting, etc

Completes follow up correspondence to clients and vendors as needed.Maintains existing relationships with hotel’s preferred vendors.

Maintains detailed record of communication with customers through hotel’s CMS system.

Facilitates the pre-scheduling of advanced deposits listed in the sales agreement.Interface with other departments positively assisting as required

Attending Daily Business Review meeting as well as other departmental meetings as requested.

Performs other reasonable tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor, Director, or other members of the hotel’s Senior Leadership team.
Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of three years job-related experience

Complete working knowledge of MS office

Familiarity with Delphi preferred.

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $26.44/Hr. - $28.84/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
