We are seeking a skilled and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team. As a Banquet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet and event operations, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Duties:
- Execute all banquet events, including catering, weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings
- Ensure that all banquet areas are set up according to event specifications and company standards
- Oversee food and beverage service during events, ensuring high quality and timely delivery
- Consult with banquet sales directors, facility managers, and head chefs regarding work schedules, food and beverage details, and event management.
- Serve as a Food Expeditor by consulting with the head chef on the priority of dishes, dietary restrictions, and ensuring meals are served in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory levels and order/buy supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized banquet area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience managing financial transactions
- Culinary background or experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
