We also book off-premise events in locations such as the Legislative Office Building in Albany, Canfield Casino in Saratoga, NYS Museum, Palace Theater, and a Multitude of interesting Locations, skies the limit! Birch Hill is a full service, fully licensed, banquet-corporate-picnic-concert on and off premises catering company with 70 acres at our main Facility. Ponds, Pavilions, Ballrooms, Swans, Fountains , and seating for 4,000 plus guests .
We are looking for a sales and operations professional to help create very special events. We offer beautifully orchestrated wedding ceremonies and receptions, themed socials, corporate galas, holiday events, again, the sky is the limit! We are always open to new ideas and new opportunities! We expect these professionals to be detail oriented with exceptional guest service and satisfaction skills. Proposal writing, committee presentations, meeting with and engaging customers, plus most importantly closing the sale and making your client still feel like a guest are all important to us.
Sales persons need to have at least 3 years sales experience in either wedding or corporate event planning and fully understand how to work with clients of all socioeconomic backgrounds. A hospitality background where you understand the dining room, front of the house, wedding etiquette, appreciation for the Bar and Kitchen and/or a degree in hospitality is a big plus.
