This role requires a proactive approach to sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.Responsibilities:1. **Sales and Business Development:**
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets for event spaces and catering services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.
- Create and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and maximize revenue.
2. **Event Planning and Coordination:**- Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including menu selection, room setup, audiovisual requirements, and other logistical details.
- Ensure seamless execution of events by coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
3. **Customer Service and Relationship Management:**- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, anticipating their needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
4. **Administrative Tasks:**- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and event orders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and revenue performance.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to support overall hotel objectives.
**Qualifications:**- Experience in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in the hospitality or event industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of sales CRM systems preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
