Catering Sales Coordinator Job Summary
As a Catering Sales Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales and coordinating catering services. You'll be responsible for managing client event details, supporting the operations on daily tasks, and ensuring the successful execution of catering events. Your primary goal is to provide exceptional client service.
General Job Duties
Sales and Business Development:
· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the catering market.
· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients.
· Respond to inquiries, prepare and present proposals, and negotiate contracts.
Client Management:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally for their individual event.
· Details all catering events for client-based events, including but not limited to (food, beverage, rentals, external vendors)
· Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
· Coordinate tastings and meetings with clients to finalize event details.
Event Coordination:
· Work closely with the catering operations team to ensure the seamless execution of events.
· Manage event timelines, ensuring all catering services are delivered as agreed upon.
· Provide on-site support during events as needed to guarantee client satisfaction.
Administrative Tasks:
· Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and event details.
· Generate reports on sales performance and client feedback for management review.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of catering sales policies and procedures.
· Process payments for all catering events for client-based events.
· Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director.

· Proven experience in sales, preferably in the catering or hospitality industry.
