Machine Operator
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
The Machine Operator is responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot.
Responsible for performing preventive maintenance on assigned machines including inspecting parts to specifications and adjusting machine settings as necessary to complete tasks accurately and in a timely fashion.
The position follows standard work methods and practices and safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Experience as a Machine Operator and ability to operate a Pitney Bowes Flowmaster / Blue Crest and postal sorting, and knowledge of other lettershop equipment (Bell Howell, folders, tabbers, meters, etc.)
Valid Drivers License
Operate/monitor product line equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
Report any production or equipment issues directly to supervisor as required
Assemble goods on production lines
Carry out basic quality and testing checks
Packs goods to be shipped as needed
Maintain clean and safe work areas and equipment
Follow all company rules, policies, and safety rules
Shred and dispose of paper and cardboard per company policy
