Carolina Core Machine (CCM) was established in December of 2021 with the vision to be a leader in the CNC manufacturing industry through continuous improvement of the company and our services. CCM concentrates its eforts on OEM markets (Tier 2 Suppliers), providing value-added manufactured products which comply with the customer's design, processes, and performance specifications. CCM focuses on products requiring the use of CNC machining that may include other external technical services and quality assurances.

The CNC Operator at Carolina Core Machine assumes responsibility for the setup and operation of computer numerically controlled (CNC) lathe/mill machines, working closely under the guidance of the Shop Manager or assigned Project Leaders. This is a high repetition job, with the sole priority of producing identical parts for high-volume orders with consistency and accuracy. This role is great for someone who enjoys a high level of repeat work. The ideal candidate will assist with reaching company goals with a strong work ethic and teamwork.

KEY RESULT AREAS

• Set up and operate CNC lathe/mill machines according to specifications provided by the Shop Manager or Project Leaders.
• Execute machining processes efficiently to ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Accurately document all machining and programming activities, including any adjustments or modifications made during production.
• Adhere quality and productivity standards.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to accomplish company goals.
• Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner at the highest possible quality.
• Driven to continuously learn and develop skills.
• Maintenance of machines as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma (Required)
• Associate degree, Diploma or Certificate in CNC from a trade school is a plus but is not required.
• Work experience in any technical trade.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for hours at a time
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds at times.

LOCATION

Carolina Core Machine is located in Reidsville, NC 27320. Reasonable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
