JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for 2 different positions within the company please read both descriptions.
Job Title: Auxiliary Operator
Reports To: The Auxiliary Operator reports to the shift supervisor.
Position Summary: The Auxiliary Operator is responsible for assisting the Line Lead during all phases of product production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements:
1. Basic math skills equivalent to those of a high school graduate.
2. Ability to obtain LEHVOSS North America in-house forklift operator license.
3. The Machine Operator must be available to work (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) or the second shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM).
4. Must be able to wear PPE on their face and/or arms for long periods of time.
5. Ability to successfully complete the Machine Operator training within 3 months of hire.
6. Must be willing to relocate or reliably commute to Pawcatuck, CT upon accepting a job offer.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the Machine Operator stands for a total of seven hours during their shift which includes walking up and down stairs. Staging and feeding the extruder requires the Machine Operator to be able to lift up to 65 pounds on a regular basis.
Work environment: While performing the duties of this job during the summer months, the employee may be exposed to high temperatures up to 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Job Title: Extruder Line Lead
Reports To: The Extruder Line Lead reports to the Shift Supervisor
Position Summary: The Extruder Line Lead is responsible for being the lead on their line. Our Extruder Line Lead is to manage all aspects of the extruder to ensure it is functioning and operating as intended. Our Extruder Line Lead will be providing the Auxiliary Operator guidance.
Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Knowledge and understanding of all the Auxiliary Operator Tasks
2. Basic math skills equivalent to those of a high school graduate.
3. Ability to obtain LEHVOSS North America in-house forklift operator license.
4. The Line Lead must be available to work the first shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)or the second shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM).
