Central Office Equipment Technician jobs in Elyria, OH
Central Office Equipment Technician installs, repairs and maintains office machinery and equipment. Performs preventative maintenance, replaces parts , and updates software. Being a Central Office Equipment Technician documents maintenance and service cycles of the office devices. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Central Office Equipment Technician may be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Central Office Equipment Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. - Unloading customers equipment
- Getting machines ready for pickup & deliveries
- Showing people how to operate equipment safely
- Test start equipment Check and fill equipment fluid levels
- Conduct routine equipment safety checks
- Clean returned equipment & Assist with minor equipment repairs
Vocational school for small equipment or diesel tech is a plus. Please have some experience either in school or working with equipment. Small engine experience a plus Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly disposition and have punctuality.
Salary depends on experience.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $14.50 to $17.00 /hourQualification
