Central Office Equipment Technician jobs in Gulfport, MS

We are looking for Technicians. We sell, service, and install specialty restaurant equipment. This is not a part time or seasonal position, It is Full Time, year round employment. We need people who want to learn and grow with our company. NO roof or outside work. Work inside on all of our equipment. Benefits provided.

Duties:

• Install and repair systems by mounting, installing, fabricating, or connecting compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, expansion and discharge values, motors, temperature and fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, piping, tubing, and related components; completes power connections.
• Tests and repairs systems by operating the systems; identifying malfunctions; repairing or replacing sealants, parts, and components.
• Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Documents actions by completing equipment records.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Electrical and Refrigeration background a plus but not required
• HVAC Systems, Equipment Maintenance, Basic Safety, Documentation Skills, Conceptual Skills, Power Tools, Attention to Detail, Dependability, Lifting, Job Knowledge, Productivity

Schedule:

Monday to Friday -Day shift

On call Rotation- once established with the company

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification: (Preferred) We offer additional training/Certifications

Driver's License (Required) We provide a company vehicle

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
