Field Service Technician Job Tasks1. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair copiers, scanners, and multifunctional printers (MFPs) in customer locations
2. Perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of all machines
3. Respond quickly to customer calls and requests for service
4. Investigate customer problems and provide the best solution
5. Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
6. Provide on-site training to end users
7. Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies
8. Document customer information, service calls, and machine history
9. Stay up-to-date with new products and technologies Requirements:
Field Service Technician Preferred Qualifications1. Ability to provide technical service and support to customers
2. Knowledge of various copier, scanners and MFP models
3. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
4. Ability to diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and software malfunctions
5. Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
6. Ability to lift and move copiers and other equipment
7. Ability to communicate effectively with customers
8. Working knowledge of computers and networking
9. Ability to provide user training
10. Good customer service skills
11. Ability to work independently
12. Valid driver's license and clean driving record
