    Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. is seeking to hire full-time Heavy Construction Equipment Technician for our Henrietta Branch.

    A successful candidate:

    • Diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical and pneumatic equipment such as backhoes, grader, wheel loaders, skid steers, excavators, milling machines, and pavers used in the construction industry.
    • Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufactures' specifications.
    • Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating, on equipment and vehicles.
    • Weld or solder broken parts and structural members, using electric or gas welders and soldering tools.
    • Adjust, maintain, and repair or replace sub-assemblies such as transmission and crawler heads using hand tools, jacks, and cranes.

    Skills:

    • Ability to use appropriate power and hand-held tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, replace and test equipment
    • Working knowledge of electrical systems
    • Ability to work independently with minimum direction
    • Ability to read and comprehend diagnostic service information
    • Ability to gather date, compile information, and prepare routine paperwork
    • Ability to understand directions and follow standard operating procedures
