Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Technician to join our team. The Equipment Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various types of office imaging equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting parts
Basic IT knowlege a plus
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions, such as electrical, mechanical, issues
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Skills:
- Strong electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
- Ability to work with low voltage systems safely
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for record keeping
