Central Supply Manager manages employees responsible for preparing, storing, and distributing equipment as needed for patient care. Oversees proper sterilization of medical supplies and assembly of equipment. Being a Central Supply Manager is responsible for inventory records of Central Supply Room. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Central Supply Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Central Supply Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dynamic individual to work as our Central Supply/Staffing Scheduler for the nursing department. The responsibilities for completing Central Supply are to ensure that the nursing department has all of the necessary equipment/supplies to complete the desired task for the residents. This individual will need to be independent in keeping inventory stock as well as speaking with vendors about arrivals. The Staffing Scheduler portion will collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Leadership team to facilitate a strong clinical team and staffing structure. This position is responsible for coordinating all Nursing, Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) schedules for each calendar month and finding replacements in order to meet all staffing guidelines. This position will assist with Nursing Department activities to include administrative support; assisting residents, families, and visitors.
