    JOB SUMMARY

    The Scheduling Specialist will assist assigned facilities with staff scheduling and central supply.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    -Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times

    -Help create a culture of superior customer service

    -Be a problem-solver

    -Responsible for helping create and maintain staff schedules and shifts worked

    -Proactively manage scheduling requirements for full-time, part-time, and PRN employees

    -Utilize the scheduling system and/or manual records of staffing assignments and changes

    -Communicate with facility and staff to fill open shifts and call-ins

    -Review and assist with daily clinical staffing to help ensure targeted staffing levels

    -Help create staffing patterns and templates to increase efficiency and staff satisfaction

    -Work collaboratively with clinical unit and operations leadership to facilitate staffing changes/adjustments

    -Assist with attendance and absence tracking

    -Assist with data collection for reporting

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Current and active CNA preferred
    • Experience with staff scheduling in healthcare, specifically long-term care/skilled nursing care
    • Experience with scheduling software
    • Superb communication skills
    • Attention to detail and excellent follow-through
