Summary: The overall success of the landscape supply yard relies on the cashier. This position is responsible for efficiently and accurately processing sales transactions for retail and contractor clients while providing an exceptional client experience.
Job Duties:
· Open and close cash register
· Create sales transactions using point of sales
· Answer phones as-needed
· Exceed client expectations in person and over the phone
· Field questions about product and measurements
· Greet all clients with a smile and warm greeting
· Maintain a clean and organized working environment
· Maintain stock of all office supplies needed for supply yard office
· Be familiar with all current promotions and/or sales
· Answer questions and direct clients to various areas of the facility/yard
Measurables:
· Daily reconcile of sales transactions and cash drawer
· Zero transactional errors
· Meet daily sales goals
· Maintain above at least a 95% attendance rating
Desired Experience and Education:
· Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
· Experience as a cashier in a retail environment is required
· Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
· Computer literate
· Function a multi-line phone system
· Multi-task and thrive in fast-paced environment
· Ability to maintain a positive and supportive attitude at all times
· Must have reliable transportation to and from work
· Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

Typical Hours: Supply yard is open 7 days per week during the green season: 7:30am-5:00pm; must be available to work weekends
