The Central Supply Coordinator assesses the need for and provides supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, and in accordance with applicable state, federal, and MFA guidelines.

Actively listens and demonstrates understanding of issues and concerns. Establishes communication with center nursing staff to ensure adequate supplies are obtained and available according to patient needs.
Maintains adequate inventory of nursing supplies as directed by the Director of Nursing. Maintains supply room areas in accordance to Life Safety Codes.
Ensures that supply and equipment charges are adequately communicated to Finance Department. Maintains monthly budget control forms on all medical and nursing supplies.
Ensures purchasing procedures are followed per MFA policies. Ensures that vendors provide appropriate material safety data sheets (MSDS) in accordance with current OSHA regulations and MFA policies.
Notifies Finance of all charges for supplies and equipment. Organizes storage, issue, and delivery of supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Reports all instances of abuse or neglect or other concerns to management. Attends and participates in orientation, training, and in-service education, and staff meetings.
Ensures all mandatory training is completed on time. Performs other duties as necessary for the successful operation of the center.
