    Job Summary: As a Quality Director at Central Moloney, Inc., you will be the driving force behind shaping and implementing our quality management system. You will provide strategic leadership, direct a team of quality professionals, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality across all operations. Your responsibilities include:

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and drive the implementation of comprehensive quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Lead the development and execution of strategic quality initiatives, policies, and procedures to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of quality processes.
    • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality regulations, staying abreast of changes and leading necessary adaptations.
    • Provide dynamic leadership and mentorship to the quality control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate quality standards and principles into all aspects of the product life cycle and business operations.
    • Champion root cause analysis methodologies and oversee the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and drive sustainable improvements.
    • Oversee comprehensive documentation and record-keeping processes to track, analyze, and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
    • Develop and manage robust training programs to enhance the quality awareness, competencies, and skills of the workforce.
    • Stay abreast of industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends in quality management, driving organizational readiness and agility.

     

    Key Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality management, with a strong focus on ISO standards, quality management systems, and strategic leadership.
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field required; advanced degree or certifications in quality management preferred.
    • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing ISO 9001 standards and driving organizational excellence in quality.
    • In-depth knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, statistical process control, Six Sigma principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams towards achieving strategic quality objectives.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
    • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and quality management software systems.
    • Experience in transformer manufacturing or a related industry is highly desirable.

     

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
    • Project Management Certification.
    • Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma
    • Auditor Certification
    • Lead Assessor Certification from BSI or equivalent.

     

    Requirements:

    • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for weekends and overtime as per business needs.
    • Proven experience and background in Quality Management.
    • Completion of background check, Drug & Alcohol Screening required.
