The Supply Chain Manager will play an integral role in Fischer's continued growth and success. This position is responsible for overseeing the direct and indirect spend of the organization including sourcing, supplier contract negotiation, purchasing and supplier management. This role manages production planning and scheduling functions and is also responsible for tracking and maintaining accurate inventory as well as overseeing warehouse and logistic functions. This is an onsite position at our Antioch, Illinois location.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing an appropriate supply chain strategy that maximizes customer satisfaction and minimizes costs.

• Ensure required quantity of supplies and materials are available to optimize production.
• Analyze and report on performance metrics and benchmarks and develop plan of action for continuous improvement.

• Leading the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Building appropriate business relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.

• Ensure accurate inventory records for both raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure warehouse operations are efficient and in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources necessary to maintain efficient and effective scheduled production.
• Monitor for optimal warehousing, shipment, and transportation of customer orders to ensure consistent on-time delivery.
• Manage production planning and scheduling process for optimal production efficiency and customer demand.

Ideal candidate will be a strong business partner and leader with the ability to scope and understand business needs and implement solutions. have:

• 5 years of experience managing supply chain functions within the manufacturing industry, preferably in paper, packaging or foodservice
• 3 years experience leading cross-functional teams to drive transformational improvements and changes
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance or related field
• Strong data analytic, verbal and written communication skills
