About This Position
Professional Analysis Inc. (PAI) is seeking qualified applicants for a Supply Specialist position in support of Marine Corps Logistics Command requirements onboard the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA.
This Supply Specialist position will report to Supply Division in support of 2nd Force Storage Battalion as part of the Integrated Logistics Support System (ILSS) contract requirements for the Marine Force Storage Command (MFSC).
Specific support duties include:
- Maintains clean work area
- Pallet building and pallet picks
- Stacks crates, pallets, lumber, or other material
- Ensures the safe and efficient movement of government assets
- Follows safety regulations and company guidelines
- Checks that loads are centered and properly stacked
- Determines when repairs need to be made on equipment
- Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damage and shortages
- Shrink wraps goods or otherwise secures them and prepares them for transport
- Documents arrival, departure, and movement and storage of goods, checks trucking manifests and bills of lading, maintains inventory, and tracks fulfillment of customer and vendor orders
- Operates sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and other industrial vehicles such as cherry-pickers and pallet jacks as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required
- Prior military experience desired
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks related to the position
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility
- Must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds consistently and occasional a maximum of 70 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to stand for at least two hours continuously
- Must be able to climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat, heavy wind, blowing sand, heavy rain, and snow and sleet
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines
- Must be able to pass a DOT screening to operate forklift
- Attention to detail
Work Type:
- Full time / 40 hours per week
