Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Yard Supervisor to oversee our warehouse operations. The Yard Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient materials handling. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of warehouse management systems, and a focus on process improvement.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of yard personnel
- Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers

-Prioritize daily tasks, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
- Ensure accurate inventory control and proper storage of materials
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize workflow and improve efficiency
- Train and develop yard personnel on proper materials handling techniques
- Monitor equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Maintain accurate records of yard activities, including inventory levels, shipments, and equipment usage

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, and materials handling
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels of the organization
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 - $25.48 per hour
