Job Objective: The Kitchen Supervisor oversees food production operations in the ARC kitchen. They organize kitchen processes to maintain high quality, safety, and efficiency. They train and manage in a manner that meets the objectives set forward by the Salvation Army.

- Supervise kitchen staff.
- Train and supervise beneficiaries assigned to the kitchen for work therapy and skill training.
- Schedule kitchen workload to allow for timely meal preparation, serving and clean-up; as well as adequate beneficiary services (i.e. skill training).
- Bi-weekly inventory of all unused items.
- Plan menus and order food consistent with nutritional rehabilitation and budge constraints.
- Cook and prepare food as needed (work alongside beneficiary staff when necessary).
- Consult with professional staff as necessary concerning beneficiary services.
- Inform Resident Manager and/or Program Manager as to staffing needs.
- Support the mission statement of The Salvation Army.
