Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Central Supply Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Principal Responsibilities: CLINICAL
• Checks inventory and keeps accurate accounting. ADMINISTRATIVE
• Records pricing of items and informs Billing Department.
• Operates supply function within budget.
• Operates Medical Records and Flotation Therapy Departments within budget.
• Participates in meetings and in-services as required.
• Conducts in-services as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma.
• Additional courses in Central Services techniques.
• Supervision, psychology and work simplification preferred.
• Experience in Central Supply, particularly in a hospital setting, preferred.
CONSUMER SERVICE
• Presents professional image to consumers through dress, behavior and speech.
• Adheres to Company standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensures all patient/resident rights are protected.
