Is your background a match? *Bachelor's degree in Engineering * 3 years or experience in a manufacturing environment * Able to read electrical and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics * Proficient with Allen Bradly PLC controls * Strong knowledge working with RSLinx, RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 (motion). Panelbuilder, RSVIEW 32, ME. Ultraware * Proficient with VFD, temperature control, data recording * Experience with equipment safety systems including STI & Banner devices * Able to analyze difficult and complex engineering systems and render clear interpretation and direction * Proficient with AutoCAD and or Autodesk Inventor * Prior experience in equipment reliability engineering and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
What will you be doing? * Develop and implement cost-effective processes and methods in accordance with product specifications, quality, and health/safety standards * Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls * Design, develop and test and/or source various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods * Research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment * Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment * Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products * Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency * Devise and implement preventative, total productive and predictive maintenance plans to drive equipment reliability * Develop solutions to repetitive failures and other maintenance problems * Provide troubleshooting support for electrical and mechanical systems * Develop plans to reduce energy intensity and energy consumption * Provide technical support to manufacturing and other manufacturing engineers * Develop and implement cost-effective control processes and methods in accordance with product manufacturing requirements and health/safety standards
