We are seeking a Sr. Product Engineer. The Sr. Product Engineer is responsible for managing the technical and documentation release aspects of the product development and life cycle. The job requires close coordination between Sales, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and the customer to meet the customer’s expectations in terms of new product development, technical support, ongoing product improvement, and sales support. The position reports to the Sr. Product Engineer. The successful candidate must be able to function well in a matrix organization and have the ability to participate and communicate across all departments effectively.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Supervises and trains Engineering department personnel.
• Creates and reviews models and prints.
• Works with other departments in support of goals and objectives.
• Performs annual performance review of Engineering personnel.
• Provide technical support and direction to Designers and other departments as required.
• Reviews applications with customers and recommends appropriate products.
• Provides customer support and acts as a liaison to resolve application problems.
• Supports external customers' requirements by visiting their locations and recommending appropriate products.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages Engineering Staff. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS

• BS in engineering required
• 4-5 years relevant work experience
• 1-2 years management experience
EDUCATION:
Creates new designs, as well as directing and coordinating activities of personnel engaged in the engineering, design, testing, quoting, and technical documentation process.
