Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. *Requirements:*
1. *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field. Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) from the Board of Certification (BOC).
2. *Licensure:* Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in New York State.
3. *Experience:*
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Certified Athletic Trainer, preferably in a school or sports setting.
- Experience working with student-athletes across various sports and age groups.
4. *Knowledge and Skills:*
- Proficient in injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation techniques.
- Strong understanding of sports medicine principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
