Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. Central Valley Indian Health (CVIH) is seeking technical, detail-oriented candidates for the position of Electronica Health Record (EHR) Coordinator/ Data Analyst. The incumbent plays a crucial role in supporting the management of EHR systems for all CVIH departments and clinics. This role involves analyzing data, developing reports, providing technical support to medical and dental staff, and contributing to ongoing EHR projects. Works closely with the EHR Project Manager, ensuring the efficient operation of EHR applications, training staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
