Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. The athletic trainer (AT) will function under the direction of a physician as a vital part of a thriving Orthopedic & Sports Medicine team. The AT will perform two essential roles as a physician extender and outreach mentor. In the physician extender role, the AT will assist patient flow in the clinic by facilitating, documenting and communicating patient care-related activities, both within and related to services, along with casting and splinting as prescribed by the physician. In the outreach mentor role, the AT will provide clinical mentorship for the University of Florida (UF) graduate assistant ATs that serve the surrounding area high schools and UF RecSports. The AT will be responsible for traveling to area high schools to provide mentorship and on-site medical care for practices, events and athletic training clinic hours, including other duties, as instructed.
