Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. The Certified EHR Trainer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Responsibilities Include:
Performing bookkeeping duties
Ability to prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments
Performing general administrative tasks such as responding to emails, organizing files and documents, phone work and data entry
Acquiring and distributing COI’s and maintaining records of the same
Preparing and distributing memos, letter, and other correspondence
Collection calls
Knowledge of Union/Construction payroll a plus
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records
Researching and resolving discrepancies in a timely fashion
Maintaining confidentiality of all financial data
Compiling and preparing routine reports and summaries
Light office duties
Qualifications:
Experience with QuickBooks a MUST
3 years of relevant office experience
Proficient in Micrsoft Office applications, including Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy a MUST
Ability to work independently
Ability to manage a variety of priorities while meeting deadlines
