Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. The Certified EHR Trainer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Athletic Trainer will provide medical coverage for a very competitive local high school athletic program. They will be part of a Sports Medicine team that is responsible for assessing injured athletes and provide appropriate medical treatment. This position involves approximately half time providing athletic training services at the high school and half time in the office as a physical therapy aide in one of our outpatient locations assisting therapists with treatment and other physical therapy office operations. The successful candidate must have an upbeat, positive attitude, be able to multi-task, and be a self-starter. Ample training is provided.
This is a full-time position that comes with a full benefits package. Afternoons, evenings, and some weekends are required.
