Certified EHR Trainer jobs in Spartanburg, SC
Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. The Certified EHR Trainer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Position Information
The Sports Medicine Institute (SMI), a division of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System, has a team of 30 outreach Athletic Trainers serving several high schools and colleges within our region.
The Certified Athletic Trainer renders service under the direction of our physician team including injury/illness prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate and emergency care, treatment and rehabilitation, and organization relating to the management of their assigned school/site. They provide Athletic Training coverage for community-based events. They are responsible for coverage and care of athletes as assigned by the Sports Medicine Institute Manager. They participate in staff education and other departmental activities as requested by the supervisor, manager or director of Rehabilitation Services.

Minimum Requirements
Education
- BS in Athletic Training or related field
Experience:

Licenses/Registrations/ Certifications
- BOC Certification
- CPR-AHA BLS
- SC DHEC Athletic Training License or eligible – Must obtain within 60 days of employment
