Certified EHR Trainer conducts technical training programs for end users of EHR (electronic health record) software applications. Determines training objectives and creates lesson plans and other materials needed for training. Being a Certified EHR Trainer configures the training environment to ensure end-users can practice using EHR software both inside and outside of the classroom. Designs and delivers new hire training and ongoing user training during system changes and upgrades. Additionally, Certified EHR Trainer may be responsible for implementing a credentialed trainer program that ensures EHR instructors have the required level of system knowledge to effectively deliver training. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Typically requires Epic/Cerner or similar certification. The Certified EHR Trainer gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance Athletic Trainers play an integral role in educating our physical therapy sports residents, who serve in the Athletic Training room and on the fields while learning from and assisting our Athletic Trainers. Our sports residency program, is one of only two fully accredited sports residency programs in Delaware, and one of only 40 in the country. Our Athletic Trainers play a critical role in the success of that program and enjoy the support of another clinician on a regular basis!
Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance was founded by two Physical Therapists, Tom Windley and Pat Williams, in 2007. Since that time, we have developed ten physical therapy centers in Delaware from Wilmington to Lewes providing Athletic Training outreach to eight high schools, the jockey's at Delaware Park, and many youth sport organizations.
