Certified Medication Technician administers prescribed medications to patients and maintains related medical records under immediate supervision. Administers medications using proper dosage, route, timing, and techniques. Being a Certified Medication Technician verifies the identity of the patient receiving medication. Records the name of the drug, the dosage, the time of administration, and any other relevant information on specified forms or records. Additionally, Certified Medication Technician takes vital signs and observes patient to detect response to medication. Follows all relevant safety guidelines and regulations. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification. Typically reports to a registered nurse or manager.     Principle Duties and Responsibilities

    • Carpet cleaning
    • Upholstery cleaning
    • Tile and Grout Cleaning
    • High end protection
    • Deodorizing
    • Cimex / Encapsulation cleaning
    • Communicate effectively with customers
    • Perform basic equipment maintenance
    • Perform basic vehicle maintenance
    • Inspect completed work
    • Complete Work Orders
    • Maintain appropriate chemical inventory
    • Utilize software to manage work for the day

    Expectations

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule
    • Work without the need to be supervised
    • Arrive on time to work and all meetings
    • Maintain appearance standards

    Additional Duties and Responsibilities

    • Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools and materials for company vehicles
    • Basic building maintenance

    Decision Rights and Authority

    • Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company’s services at the customer’s property
    • Sell additional related services to customers as appropriate
    • Anticipate Lead Rug Technician’s next step and provide appropriate tools, materials and supplies

    Working Relationships and Scope

    • Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors, or Managers

    • Written Communication – Writes clear and accurate job notes and emails. The individual is able to read and interpret written information. Uses appropriate vocabulary and grammar.
    • Planning & Organizing – Plans and organizes work activities considering the nature of the job at hand. Focuses on key priorities. Pays attention to details.
    • Technical – Is appropriately trained and/or certified and effectively performs all production work within the division.
    • Quality – the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors his / her own work to ensure quality.

     

    Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Education and Experience

    High school (or GED) diploma.

    • Valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean MVR.
    • Mathematical skills

    Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.

    • Computer skills

    Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
