A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (CMA)
As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), you administer medications accurately and legally, as ordered by providers. You also make sure to correctly document what medications were given and when they were given in our EMR and MAR systems.
You play an impactful role in our nursing center because you help our LPNs and RNs optimize their time while helping us ensure that each member of our staff is doing what they can to help our residents.
You feel good about helping LPNs and RNs feel less stressed. Helping our residents and building strong relationships with them is a plus!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (CMA)
CMA license through the Oregon State Board of Nursing and in good standing
Are you able to think on your feet and be flexible? Do you have excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally?
